The lottery will begin on the 22nd of June 2023 and finish on the 20th of June 2024 unless the jackpot has been won prior.

• How to enter the lottery: Purchase any raffle ticket to go into the draw. Tickets are $5 and there is a 10 per person limit on tickets.

• How the lottery works: All you need to do is purchase a raffle ticket throughout the

evening. A number will then be drawn from the barrel and winning ticket will be called. The winner then be allowed to choose an unturned playing card on the board. This card is then flipped by the presenter and if the card is the Joker the Jackpot will be won. If it is not the card remains flipped and the jackpot remains until the following week.

• The start time and date of the lottery: Sale of raffle tickets will begin from 6:30pm on Thursday evenings

• The closing time and date of the lottery: Raffle tickets will close at 8pm on Thursday evenings

• The time and date of the draw; The draw will take place between 8:10pm and 8:20pm on Thursday evenings.

• Amount of tickets drawn each night: There is only one ticket drawn as a winner each Thursday night unless a winner does not present themselves within 3 minutes, or if the jackpot limit is reached; in which case tickets will be drawn until there is a winner. • Jackpot amount: The jackpot amount is dependent upon the number of tickets sold.

• The full prize details and their values, including an estimate of the total prize value; Prizes can range from $50 to $10,000 dependent upon when the joker card is found. The winner is required to be present on the day as they will need to present their ticket and pick a card.

• How the proceeds of the ticket sales will be disbursed: Of the total prize pool 70% goes to the winner and 30% to a charity. This Charity will be ‘Win the Day’ which is an Australian based, public, not-for-profit charity formed from our own experience of dealing with rare childhood cancer. They aim to raise awareness and support the funding of research related to rare childhood cancers, as well as financially support families with accommodation, meals, and ongoing treatment grants.

• Persons Not Permitted to Participate in a Card Jackpot Raffle The following persons are excluded from participating as a player in any Card Jackpot Raffle:

a) the applicant or organiser of the Card Jackpot Raffle and their employees and contractors;

b) the owners/occupiers of any venue used for the conduct of the Card Jackpot Raffle and their employees and

c) contractors,

d) the organisation conducting the Card Jackpot Raffle and their employees and contractors;

e) persons under the age of 18 years; and

f) intoxicated persons.

A player shall not participate:

a) in any sales related to the conduct of a Card Jackpot Raffle for the session;

b) in the organisation or conduct of a Card Jackpot Raffle during the session; or

c) in the administration of a Card Jackpot Raffle for the session.
